Kicked off his tour down here in wellington. Funny as fuck, a lot of cry laughing. Was surprised how hammered the crowd was for a Tuesday, some good hecklers getting owned too. Good times.

Been watching Tokyo vice, based on a true story about a yank journalist in Japan. Really good so far, about 5 episodes in.

I’m not doubting they’re better than polvara, but it doesn’t seem to work when they play together. So if that means we need to rotate a bit more then so be it.

Can see us setting up formation wise pretty similar to PAOK, albeit, i'd expect Miovski and possibly Polvara to start? Don't want to see the Barron / Clarkson combo being tried again, it doesn't work. Playing two strikers will probably leave us short in the middle of the park, which is where we need numbers. Not ideal playing them after their European pumping, as they'll likely want to come out firing, but they usually play like that against us anyway. Getting third in this group would have been result. I'm not overly bothered tbh. Yes, it would have been great to go through, but always felt that this euro jaunt was too early for us. We played some good stuff and a lot of grit and determination. happy with that performance and the subs seemed to make sense. I know some were surprised with Shinnie coming off, but we have a big game on the weekend. Great finishes for both our goals, just our defence again letting us down with some silliness. Overall, proud of that. No mean feat to get a draw over there.

How wasn't he booked for diving? The officiating has been horrendous.

Taking a leaf out of Rico’s preferred playbook, here’s the OG thread but for the reverse fixture PAOK beat olympiakos on the weekend, 4-2 away from home after a 2-0 loss to AEK earlier in the week. Can’t really see is picking much up over there but hopefully they’ll think they have us sussed out and we’ll somehow manage to conjure up something different. I actually thought we played a bit better after he got the red tbh. But I was being distracted a number of times. That was a turgid watch, but Bojan stepped up when we really needed him to. Could and should have doubled his count, but we got the win and defended resolutely after that. Who do we want, hearts or huns? Given our current form, I’m not overly confident for this one. He league table makers for frustrating viewing after yet another failure to capitalise on anything around us.
