  1. Never in doubt. Shat myself when I saw the former England striking coach giving advice on penalties though.

  2. I moved away from other Aberdeen sites to avoid petty bickering, point-scoring, numbnut shite and now it's creeping in here. Mods, please kill this now or I'll probably slowly lose interest if I have to keep trawling through this shite.

  6. Didn’t think anything could top the hypocrisy of the huns and their new found morality on discrimination, but; the EPL and Sky Sports funding, never been to a live game, supporting teams from hundreds of miles away, post Euro ‘96, football bores outrage at the logical next step for THEIR “sport” might just top it. Gary Neville the hypocrite in chief, with his tweet about these teams earning £300 million more a season then dropping back into the EPL on a Saturday with that advantage. I’d be really interested to know what the differences in budgets percentage wise were compared to Salford i

  8. I think it was more than that, and we've seen it in every game Sheerin has managed. It's clearly been forced on them and it's clear that they've been told that they have to do it every single time. In other words, their game intelligence is being overridden by management ideology, as it was very clear that they were doing it when they weren't comfortable doing so. It's our new version of game management, which was drilled into our players under McInnes, limiting their freedom to instinctively move forward with the ball. I'm really hoping that Glass ditches it immediately and allows players to

  10. Been a while since I logged onto a football forum but social media doesn't really lend itself to longform posts. It's the usual shite I used to post so if you thought I was an arse before, this will only corroborate things. And so it is done. The end of a dynasty. Derek McInnes departs, just shy of 8 years after taking charge of the perennial “sleeping giant” of Scottish football, having fleetingly woken us from our slumber. I’m not sad to see him leave, it’s been too long coming, but I am appreciative of the first few years of the relationship that certainly brought back a degree of

  11. There is a ridiculous notion that persists in some peoples minds that because someone was a hard player or a horrible bastard on the pitch that that somehow how makes them more likely to get the best out of players as they will somehow knock their own attributes into them. Often its the very attributes that they showed on the pitch that makes them unsuited to man management and I say this in direct response to those who would tout guys like Brown as just what the current squad needs to give them a good boot up the arse.

  12. I will never understand this ‘be careful what you wish for’ nonsense. it’s been spouted by a few idiots, including Kris Boyd and now tonight, Ricky Foster. it’s simple...we wish for Aberdeen to be the best that they can be. Now, the best that we can be is up for debate but it certainly isn’t what we were served up during the last 4 years of McInnes’s reign. I don’t understand people that are happy to accept a level of mediocrity for fear of what failure might be when trying to better yourself. If you don’t try, you will never know...

  14. Can we stop with the personal attacks before this even goes anywhere? I thought we got rid of that a few weeks ago. I really appreciate the chat and banter here, and certainly appreciate differences of opinions. I talk shite much of the time, and I acknowledge that! But it doesn't need to get personal, not necessary. Take that elsewhere.

  15. I'd agree with the person at the club. Of course we beat Celtic on the last day. Given the way they punched and kicked our players at full time, I'd say they were pretty bothered about losing.

We've tried to take as much of the old site over as possible: All posts from the old site have been copied across; Existing members can login with their existing username and password - if you've forgotten your password, just use the reset password facility; Not all member profile pictures have come across (but you can upload a new profile picture easily); Not all signatures have come across but again, new signatures can be created for your profile;

  22. I shouldn't be so negative. He's got a clean slate. Best of luck to him. Anything is better than the pitiful hun sycophancy we were forced to endure from hun lovers McInnes and Wright amongst others this season. Hopefully there will be none of that next season.

  23. Grow up. We don't need to be told to get behind a manager, we're not fucking morons. We can objectively look at a situation and call out the glaring issues that present themselves. We don't have to blindly support every single decision in some partisan unquestioning manner. Glass will get everyone's support. There's nothing that he's done wrong.

  26. And there we have with what really pisses me off about the way an element of our support view Derek McInnes. That is a very all emcompassing statement. I struggle to comprehend that any Aberdeen fan can't see the benefit of the McInnes era. If you meant the latter stages of McInnes term then you should have made that clearer Tup.

  27. I understand what you are saying. We have decent players who would compliment good players. I get that. But these players have been producing nothing of late and I’d be inclined to freshen the squad up. We will anyway, just curious to see who actually survives. With a new guy coming in give him a chance to make it his squad. In regards to McLennan, I’d rather see what Ethan ross can do. I disagree with Ferguson. I don’t see him improving significantly under us any more. He needs better players to make him better. Replace him with Campbell or Jackson Irvine for example and it’s a new

  30. I took it as he's meaning go to Glasgow to try to win games, simple as that. Cormack also stated that there is a clear philosophy now about how we should play too. There have been times we've had the players to win in Glasgow but the tactics have appeared to be shite, the very defensive sit back and absorb until we eventually lose a goal. I don't think Cormack (who is very American in his thinking) is happy with the on the park product and believes we should entertain the fans and try to win every game. With our budget we're capable of more wins than we've had, although I agree injuries do pla

  36. I blame the parents. Highlights the appalling state of new hun finances. Can't even afford a few grand to prevent the psychological damage likely to be done to the lad. What with him having to worry about potentially being in a team with the rat in 6 months time. Hopefully Considine breaks his leg in his final training session, or even the Aberdeen lad that plays for hibs in the post-split game for 100% deniability, would be best for all concerned.

  37. I think it's irrelevant. We can only set our own points target. If we're hitting 70+ points in any season, that's an excellent return. I think there's only been us and hearts have done that before. I'd like to see us stretching towards 80 on the odd occasion. We're not spending enough money to have a second string team that can win every single game, so we'd need a relatively injury free season. We'd need two good strikers and three or four players of the quality of Hedges and Wright. Beyond that, you're relying on a poor season for the scum too. I'm wondering why you think we can have any bea
