Think we’re heading for a hung parliament hopefully the opposition can cobble something together to oust the Tories from government.
I really don't think we are. I was out canvassing yesterday, and the number of tory v Snp utterly shocked me. Not just that but all day I got one Lib-Dem, and one lifelong Labour voter who doesn't know who he's voting for but it 100% won't be Labour.

Now Deeside is hardly representative of the whole constituemcy, nor the country, but it shocked me how out of kilter compared to current polls support for the Tories was, and indeed how absolutely nowhere the two also ran parties were

This is gonna be the most interesting GE in our lifetime.

If my skull was found by primitive peoples they would probably be amazed by it.

If they found yours they would be unimpressed and would probably not even pick it up or they might use it to keep things in (pebbles etc.)

It's not a competition (between galleries). Not that you're competent to stand in judgement.

Life is a competition, everything is a competition, but at no point did i say it was a competition, I simply stated that by comparison, an already pretty badly criticised V&A is looking even poorer.

As for me not being competent, I don't think you're competent to judge on that in all honesty.  :dunno:

Shrigley is wonderful. I love all his work and have introduced him to my family who also share my enthusiasm. Why do you ask, anti-art man with a horrendous set of values?
I find him quite amusing, I just thought that someone with your lack of humour wouldn't get it. Congrats

Down at the V&A today, rolled up to the current Hello Robot exhibition. What an incredible load of shit, with our own Art Gallery  now up and running, it just shows the V&A up even more. Really poor and really disappointing.

In other news, thoughts on David Shrigley rocket?

Please to be explaining? ??? Is that not already the case? The Tories are well on their way to trebling the national debt and they've been in power circa 9 years during which we've seen nothing but austerity. Are we not being bankrupted already? Labour might have big spending plans but I'm pretty sure Javid announced some of the Tories' own too. At least Labour would be more likely to hold corporations to account for their dodgy tax avoiding practices. I'm no fan of Labour and for as long as I'm registered to vote in Scotland I'll never be able to vote for them (or any other unionist party) but when it comes down to a straight choice between the two not-so-great options of Boris and Jeremy it's a fucking no-brainer. I can't think of one single scenario of leadership or being the PM that I'd prefer Boris over Jeremy.

Even if it's just to get it up the brain dead idiots that bleat on about how he's "dangerous" or a "terrorist".  ::) ::)

Unusually spot on, on all points  :o ;D

I see The Times has inflated a non-story about Rangers allegedly being killed off by the taxman's incompetence today and the Scottish mainstream media have duly followed suit.  The bill as calculated was too high and super Ally and others have chipped in with their views that had the real bill been known the club could have coped with it.

Reasons why this is not a real story are many, but the first one that occurred to me is that it completely ignores how things happen in the real world.

The taxman doesn't determine how much tax you pay, the law does.  Where a tax payer is being uncooperative, failing to file returns, not replying to correspondence etc it isn't unusual for the taxman to issue a too high assessment.  This isn't an attempt to collect that amount of tax, it's an attempt to get the taxpayer to furnish the information to prove that the assessment is too high.

If Joe Bloggs gets an assessment that's too high, he might panic and think he might have to pay that amount.  But a significant company with professional tax advisers?  Not a chance.  This happens all the time.  They would appeal the assessment and counter with a justification for what they think the real bill should be.

When advising a client on a scheme that contains some element of risk, tax advisers will certainly inform their client what the "worst case" scenario is - the amount that will become due if the scheme doesn't work.  This will be based on the most pessimistic assumptions of how the law might work.  This is what Rangers would have considered the maximum they needed to pay.  The amount on the HMRC assessment would have been an irrelevance.

It's absolutely disgraceful that the media are reporting this as though the taxman somehow killed Rangers off.

Tremendous post. Would read again.

This “story” is just a smokescreen.

I just don't think we would entertain an offer from sevco under any circumstances. He's under contract till 2024 so we hold all the cards. The board are well aware of the damage it would cause to the relationship with supporters were they to roll over at sevco's behest.

Today's newspaper story has the rancid stench of that obese bigot Traynor all over it. A pre transfer window attempt to unsettle the player and of course sevco are due in town in the not too distant future ana. I wish Traynor nothing more than a cerebral haemhorrage that doesn't kill him but leaves the cunt unable to anything for himself, paralysed, unable to communicate and swimming in his own piss and shit

A scandal that this post was overlooked in this weeks i newspaper round up of fans’ forums.

I don't remember actually. But whilst I certainly have grave reservations about migration I most certainly am not racist and will thank you to withdraw your allegation

It's not possible. For a start it wasn't an allegation. It was a fact (that you posted disgusting racism).

You can disclaim or claim whatever you like. For all I know, you used to be a racist 2 or 3 months ago and now you're not.
