Title: Calderwood in The Sun
Post by: rocket_scientist on May 30, 2012, 06:54:46 PM
Begging for employment again.

So absurd.

So sad.

The man got found out.

Everyone knows it but him.

I despise the thick and the corrupt.

He's both.

Agreed.

My excuse was that I was down the pub.

Actually, allow me to re-phrase you.

Only fannies buy the Sun.

I think JC did have the right to expect a little better than he has received since leaving aberdeen.................. but not much.  He is not a bad manager, he is just not a good one

Was it ever disclosed why Go Ahead Eagles never renewed his contract last season?

Don't think he should ever have expected anything, no one owes him a living.  I'm surprised he's not found another job, if anything the way he left Kilmarnock probably put many chairmen off him in these times when money is tight.

Maybes aye, maybes no.

But he certainly was a good manager for Aberdeen.

I still cannot believe some utter knobbers refuse to admit Calderwood was doing well at the dons.

Despite having the better players sold, let go for nowt, and having little to bring in players, he consistently polished turds.

Mind you, its the same fucking idiots who though Willie Miller had done a bad job. Despite two second-place finishes in the league and two losing cup finals.

Been fucking downhill since Miller, and Calderwood got us back into europe, and I don't mean getting booted at the first hurdle by part-time tattie munchers either.

Have a look at yoursels.

Miller had to go otherwise we WOULD have gone down. Sorry if that doesn't fit your ideas.  ;)

He took a brave move to try to totally rebuild the team and let a lot of the older players in their last (few) season(s) go and it didn't work.

Got a feeling folk will be discussing it until we win a trophy or even reach europe again.
