  1. According to Scott burns the club were hoping/expecting it to be done over the weekend which I assume is why the story got leaked.
  2. Yeah, it isn't underwhelming exactly but we are unlikely to see a spike in season ticket sales either. If it is him I suspect the delay is the fixture this evening. Friendly or not I could see why you wouldn't want to leave NI in the lurch against Scotland, that it would be to leave yo a Scottish club side would be extra salt in the wound too. For that to be true though it presents a conundrum which makes me think none of this is the case. The club seemed genuinely confident they would get the appointment done at the weekend, O'Neill is unlikely to have given that impression given NI had a fixture. Making that announcement was pointless, they should have just kept the powder dry until the ink was on the paper. Now everyone is wondering what is going on even more and the club looks extra shambolic.... Which is actually quite impressive to manage given how shambolic we were looking prior.
  3. If memory serves the consultants we brought was a German company? Wouldn't be totally shocking if we brought in someone with German football experience from that pov
  4. Where are you hearing that al?
  5. Today or tomorrow but you would think today.
  6. Aye the record is running that too.
  7. He could take that Armstrong kid if he wanted. That's fair though. Personally I think both parties have moved on enough that a reconnection would likely produce something new but that's just my opinion. It could be distinctly average.... Though I doubt it would ever get worse than that.
  8. Disagree, Ramirez's wage alone proves we started spending bigger the moment Mcinnes left. That season we also payed fees for besuijen, Jet and bates as well I think? Brown would have been on a higher wage than anything Mcinnes could have offered either. I agree however Goodwin was given even more to play with but of the three Mcinnes clearly had the smallest pot and imo it's because Cormack wanted to move him on.
  9. One thing I do find interesting is Mcinnes, to the best of my knowledge anyway, has yet to be asked it about it by the media. And you would think they would have by now after the warnock debacle. I can't help but wonder if he has instructed journalists before any interview not to ask him about it. If that is the case (and of course that is nothing but speculation) then it would possibly suggest an interest in coming back. I'm normally never go back but I would be happy to make an exception in this case. With hindsight I feel he was a bit hard done by previously. It had absolutely gone very stale by the end of his tenure but I think a big reason for that now is that cormack kept the purse strings tight as he wanted to bring in his own man. I can't be the only person on here that has wondered what Mcinnes could have done with such an increased wage budget that every manager since has enjoyed. How would everyone feel if it was DM once again?
  10. Cowan is always saying on the radio Motherwell are the team you want to play when you're a desperate for a result.
  11. I would snap your hand off for Mcinnes back right now
  12. I heard Macintyre quiz him about it on the radio when he was first in charge of Ni and after he had turned down Scotland. He obviously denied it but fwiw I found him reasonably convincing at the time. I don't think you can get away with being an alcholic manager these days 2bh, there's too much scrutiny on you.
  13. Aye, I was pleased with the win and then the day got even better. I honestly never want to hear the phrase "are you with me?" ever again. The holiday maker departing and the surprisingly convincing win over Killie aside what an absolute clusterfuck of a position the club has got itself into. He was supposed to be here till the end of the season but now apparently he's been telling them for ages they need to get someone else in beforehand. I'm calling bullshit on that. I think he found out the club were planning to replace him earlier than he expected and he's decided to go on his terms instead. I can respect that 2bf.
