If you think the CAS would "laugh us out of the place" for putting that case to them i honestly don't know what to say to you. Cases like this are literally what it exists to mitigate.

Actually, I don't agree with that. I think it just needs taken to the court of arbitration for sport by hearts, hibs and Aberdeen. It would get sorted out very quickly and the precedent would then be set.

What I think is interesting is Elfsborg have picked their new manager. "Reports in Denmark state Elfsborg have landed Oscar Hiljemark of Aalborg as replacement for Thelin." This whole waiting till the mid season break before making the move seems increasingly unlikely to me as a result. In fine with June the 1st, it's not like he won't have done his homework prior to stepping through the door and have a good idea of what he's working with. Don't be surprised if it is earlier though, sometimes squads don't react well to the knowledge the manager is moving on soon. It may be they decide to take their new management team in a bit earlier if so. I like the sound of this guy I have to say. My suspicion is that boring is paper talk for calm and calm is good.
