  1. It's nae just the club; it's the league competition as a whole. Septic sorting themselves oot, and getting into the champions league is a disaster for the other clubs; and seeing sevco waltz into second place in their first season is incredibly deflating.
  2. Has he ever explained why he continues to pick (and actually played last night) a Hibs player? A guy playing in Scotland's lower leagues?
  3. Holy phuk that's inspiring. Just need Stuart Baxter to complete the set.
  4. I have very fond memories o' this een as it's the only game I went to wi' my granda. Stewart McKimmie's testimonial. Never got to see superstar Alan Shearer due to injury (supposedly) but did get to see a young Russell Anderson put in a crunching challenge on a certain Kenny Dalglish. Was ace.
  5. I got to see Dons legend Jim Leighton on my first visit to Pittodrie - he was in goals for Dundee. Billy Dodds scored to put them ahead, but we ended up winning 2-1. Had to look up wiki for our scorers, Shearer and Mixu apparently. 1992 - I'd just been watching the Euros. Was surprised to find out that normal games didna hae the teams singing the national anthem before kick-off.
  6. Here's my personal theme music, featuring, without a shadow of a doubt, the greatest vocals ever recorded: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RFFmDsxEhPM Hey! The Youtube link brings up the video right there in the post - we've arrived in the future, loons!
  7. Aye, there was a whole group of them that got banned and then went over there.
  8. I went to see Orfeo ed Euridice once. Impressive singing, although I found the plot a bit tricky to follow. Daily culture over in Budapest, eh min? Nae sure you get that stuff in UK.
  9. I think metal has evolved and grown so much that 'heavy metal' is, nowadays, basically a sub-genre of metal as a whole. I'm not such a fan of it, although I do love Judas Priest. Black metal reigns supreme for me. Anything with some guy shrieking like a demon over a guitar sounding like knives scraping bones with machine gun drumming does me fine.
  10. Well Al, I'm nae quite sure. However, I suspect he canna be that auld, as he's probably in better condition than the last lot of PJM wasters I saw playing fitba.
  11. Da ken aboot that min, he's got een o' those fancy smartphone things and seems to get along wi' it fine. I've nae quite managed that yet.
  12. A'right 'en? Another zoomer joining up. Couldna bear the thought o' relying on Twitter (fitever that is) or Facebook for dons updates. Thanks to the Donstalk mainstays for the warm welcome. COYR!
