  1. Nae quite! Wasna the best but was ok actually! In Espionage till 2am gitting the jagerbombs was a bad idea though!
  2. I think the cheering was more for Jimmy finally realising what everyone in the Stadium could easily see. I wouldnt say he had a mare, he is just simply not a central midfielder. Did his best, which isnt good enough. Its not as though he is a proven centre mid who had an off day, he cant play there. With him as our attacking centre mid we were never gonna do anything. I think young has a role as a squad player, backup for one of the wings if need be. But Centre Midfield, wise up Jimmy. Shows how backward our squad is going. Jimmytried him there on Sat, he was terrible, hooked him. So why put him in that position again. Is Gary Macdonald really that bad?
  3. Carry on from the second half on Sat, lets get a few goals. Boost confidence at home. You are my Foster!
  4. Foster in plea to Red Army Published: 11/11/2008 VERSATILE: Richard Foster. More Pictures RICHARD FOSTER is calling on the Red Army to be patient when the Dons tackle St Mirren tonight. Defender Foster said: “The fans at Pittodrie can become impatient and voice their opinions if things are not going well. They are entitled to do that. “But hopefully we will get off to a strong start and they will get right behind us because the fans are important to us at home.†Aberdeen finally broke their Pittodrie hoodoo with a 1-0 home win over Kilmarnock last month, but have still earned just four points from a possible 18 at Pittodrie this season. The victory did, however, end a nightmare five-game winless run at Pittodrie and the former Scotland Under-21 cap is expecting Saints to sit back and defend in numbers. “We always knew a home win would come but the longer it went on it was becoming harder and harder to take,†he said. “It was so important to beat Kilmarnock in our last home game and we need to keep that going tonight. “I would take a 1-0 win at Pittodrie anytime if it meant coming away with three points, because getting a win is the bottom line.†Versatile Foster has been utilised in a variety of positions already this season. Right back, left back, central midfield and man marking – he has done them all. And he is willing to slot into any role against the Saints. “I will play anywhere the gaffer wants me although I do prefer playing further forward,†he said. “Against Hearts and Kilmarnock, I was used in a central midfield role and enjoyed that. “But the manager often changes the side and the formations so it is important to be versatile.†Foster is furious the Dons continue to throw away points by leaking goals. And he insists the mistakes must stop now or Aberdeen will jeopardise their chances of European football next season. He said: “The mistakes cannot continue as we have lost far too many points already. “As the home side we must take the game to St Mirren and it is vital we keep it tight at the back. “The gaffer keeps saying that the most difficult part of football is scoring goals. “If we are gifting teams goals it is making it so much harder for us.â€
  5. Deek Dung what u done....... Surprised me big time, could not believe we signed him but it has been worthwhile. Definate worth having as a squad player now I reckon.
  6. See when bebo fouled there keeper and tried to get him back to the feet and there centre half came over and pushed him. Aluko went rushing over, so we had bebo and aluko sticking up for themselves against some mealer journeyman pro. A good captain would be right over there regardless, Seve didnt even seem intereted, prob to much effort to make the 20 yard run. Do you think Anderson would let 2 of the younger members of his team get pushed around by the opposition? The guy is not captain material. i would have him in the team still as a centre midfielder, not a defender and not a captain.
  7. IF the old firm can just demand 5% of the the ticket money which by SPL rules says goes to the home team, why cant we say well we will take 20% fee at ibrox. They cant give us any less tickets than what they give us already. Pathetic excuse from every team that doesnt stand up top this and how the SPL are sitting back doing nothing is a disgrace.
  8. Without a doubt a Centre Back and a Striker. Could also be doing with a right back and another winger.
  9. I would LOVE to hear after a defeat Calderwood saying "I got it wrong". If we lose it the players fault, if we win its down to him. Bafoon
